Do you feel bad for people who found the love of their lives at 19?

Recommended Posts

op,

not everyone has the same desire to sleep around. Some really want to experience that, while for others, it's just not that important.

My only issue is that someone who meets "the love of their life" at a young age is actually experienced enough emotionally to know for sure they are ready to settle down for good. Some are, some get caught up in the excitement of a new love that they act without really thinking.

I've been married to the same guy for over 21 years now. I haven't cheated or even been tempted to, as it's just not who I am. I like being with one person and investing my "romantic energy" on that single relationship. To me, being with more than one person would be unpleasant, as would sleeping with a whole bunch of guys over an extended period. To me, that would be gross. Others might find it exciting and just the experience they are looking for.

That's fine, so long as they are honest with the people they sleep with that they aren't monogamous.

If the op finds hookup culture fun, they can have that! Dating can be both exhausting and dangerous, not to mention risk of stds. I'd much rather marry early than go through the wringer of dating or hookup culture.

My buddy SA was with his Wife unmarried from 1988 to 97. Then 1997 o 2017 married. They are separating to divorce. He messed around on her as well and he has a new GF.

He has something that I don't have. SA has a better radar when it comes to romantic relationships. I am still clueless. Unless a woman makes a major obvious effort with m. I can't tell anymore. I just fell for me. My life Dynamic will be falling in love with a woman and vice versa, by chance.

lt doesn't have to be complicated , really. lf she shows some warmness, interest , touching, anything along those lines, and you like her, it's time to step in and do your bit and take a small plunge or ask her out or something, whatever the sitch may be. or if it's you liking her you do the same and just see if it's returned.

lt doesn't have to be anything dramatic or too risky or embarrassing, really.

As long as it;s just something gentle, that way if she doesn't return it or moves away or politely says something , no harm done , tis life/ male and female, she knows all about it.

lf she's not a b@tch she'll be fine.
