blocked from messenging her on FB?

Recommended Posts

Because we weed out men who use our profession as an excuse to hit on us. You may have been trying to be nice, but she has had negative experiences in the past. So she will tolerate you on her friends list (likely her FB page is a way to market herself) but wont allow a personal connection.

For what reason though? What did I do to her? nothing. Women need to learn that not all men who message them are hitting on them.

Here is what YOU need to learn....

As a man, I never once in my entire life, ever had to worry about someone from the opposite sex creeping on me, making me feel uneasy, potentially unsafe, etc...I've even had more than one legitimate female stalker, but what the hell could they possibly do to me? The reality is practically nothing...

As a woman, its a completely different story...Practically all the time, there are stories of women that are stalked, raped, brutalized, killed and dropped in a ditch, etc..It's a real concern, not some negative feminist garbage...Smart women don't look for unsolicited comments and if they get them, they dispatch of any possibility of escalation fast, before it can become another tragic story ..Or at the very least, very annoying...That's exactly what this realtor did...She followed protocol perfectly...

If you live long enough and learn anything, the best thing you can do is never comment on a woman's looks, or anything physical, unless you know the woman and/or there is a green light for it and you know how to tell the difference from a green light and red light...If you don't know how to tell the difference, then don't even bother saying anything...Just keep it to yourself...

You have to put yourself in their shoes for a moment...Its not about #metoo...Ive been around long before any of that crap, and its always been the same story...

Most people don’t know that even if you block someone on messenger they are still visible on Facebook. This guy I met on bumble blocked me on messenger but I was still able to see his profile on Facebook. Pretty dumb on his end that he didn’t even notice

Actually he may well have been aware of the outcome. I've blocked people from messaging me but left them as a friend. Not wanting particular people to be messaging me is a whole different thing to unfriending them.

I'm FB friends with quite a few, but only message with those who are close to me.

I don't think of it as being rejected, I think of it is she probably doesn't remember me or she only feels comfortable receiving messages from her b/f and people who she for sure knows.

And here is the most logical answer to your question. I too only want messages from those I'm close to.

Well, I'm going to say, yes it was creepy. Not having a pic on FB just amplifies it. Now I work in an industry where I have co-workers plastered on billboards all over the place. If I said something like that it would be in person and I already have a history with them so it would seem Ok, so that is a different situation.
