basil67
No, society created the problem by beating the masculinity out of the men and turning them into either a bunch of little emasculated pussies, or the opposite extreme of what you see in MGTOW. You're not the first person to say this, but for the life of me, I don't know what you mean about masculine guys before they were 'emasculated'. When I think back to before people questioned men's behaviour, I'm taken back to my father's generation. (he's now closing in on 80). He is a good man and good earner, he liked to tinker and could fix lots of things, but like many men of his generation had a very hands off attitude towards raising children. He was also of the generation where he'd come home from work any my SAHM mum would have his dinner on the table by 5:30. He wouldn't have liked mum to be working because it would upset his routine. These days, men are involved in raising their kids. In dual income houses, men are more likely to help with the domestics. They are more likely to do marriage counselling if there are problems at home. They are more likely to teach their boys to communicate than to just beat each other up if there's a problem. I don't know if I'm off the mark here, but like I say, I can't envisage what you mean by 'emasculated' guys or what was particularly wonderful about masculinity before that. (Not saying that the old masculinity was bad, I just don't understand what part of it is held up as something to aspire to) Edited to add: perhaps it would be easier if you describe the behaviours of an "emasculated pussy". Also, have you ever given thought to the fact you're using the slang name for female genitalia to describe a weak man? Why do you think a pussy is weak? You know full well what a masculine man is like vs one who is not. Neither of us were born yesterday. We've both been in threads with people saying the same thing and both you and I more often than not are telling the person the same thing.
