Tagalz
Hey! I'm posting it here because this thread has more viewing so I hope I could get more advices. People these days are jumping to conclusion very fast and their way of thinking is offensive and direct. I'm more of a defensive thinker. For example If I see two guys going into the changing room I don't think they're gay, maybe he wanted advice. I can assure you that most people would think they are gay but I don't think like that. I'm thinking twice before making a judgment. Some part of the society I understand like you can't control what people think of you. There was a situation where a customer said that he wanted the prize and then I got confused and said "If you win the lotto of course you get the prize" and then he was like "You need to learn how to take a joke" I could see that my co-worker was laughing with him. Here the customer is probably thinking wow he can't even take that of a joke. BUT just because I got confused doesn't mean I can't take a joke there is a difference. Here you can see that he was judging too quick while my co-worker agreed. Like WHY? Don't they see other side? Also! My co-worker was laughing at me for no apparent reason and when I asked him what is so funny he said nothing. So I then said don't laugh if it nothing is funny and he said I can laugh at you if I want because I can. Here he clearly wanted to make fun of me while I didn't say anything har hurt him. He started it and I was just peaceful doing me Edited January 24, 2019 by Tagalz
Garcon1986
There are too many perspectives on life and too many different upbringings to form good friends with everyone. If as a grown adult, you have 10 lifelong friends, you are doing pretty good. You just can't work hard enough to form friendships with literally everybody and be a people pleaser. It's an unfortunate fact of being an adult.
