A Funny profile dating picture.

Hi, can you help me brainstorm which photos I can use (or take, I have the equipment) that can portray me doing something widely appreciated as funny? I've been incorporating people's suggestions on my previous thread but am stuck on how to take a funny picture. I've put jokes in the written section.

OK, I'm old and married and haven't done online dating - so I'm writing this from the perspective of general interaction.

With the exception of animal shaming and goofiness, human photos aren't funny. The exception would be when you catch a good friend doing a weird face by accident. But that's only funny to those that know them. So avoid set up photos.

What kind of jokes have you put in your profile? The self depreciating humour about you looking down on your subjects was funny, but don't go overboard or else it will sound like you're trying to be funny. Be true to who you are. If you're a funny guy, it will shine through your words naturally in just the same way as humorous writers do. If you're not a funny guy, then it will show up as fake.

If it were me, I'd describe my humour: fart jokes, gallows/black humour and dry humour

One of my most successful main photos was arm-wrestling Hitler (in a wax museum).

Everyone said putting Hitler on a dating profile was a terrible idea, but it worked.

If a bloke can put a picture of him falling out of a car (coffee meets bagel ad), why can’t I? There’s got to be something I can do that may be well received by the audience. My personality is a nerd.

Well of course you can, I'm just suggesting you think twice.

It's my belief that unless you've got a an advertising team behind you, a photo where you're *trying* to look funny will miss the mark. It's a different story all together if you've got a photo which is of a genuinely funny moment.

But hey, perhaps I think this way because I wouldn't know how to orchestrate a funny photo?
