Women coworkers ask me to lunch all the time ... Now ... I'm friends with most of these women ... most of whom are married ...

But there are single coworkers who will ask me to lunch ... And I love it! ...You can ask someone to lunch to talk to them about work ... and inevitably, you will learn more about them and get to know them better as people.

So depends on how you've interested with this person. I'm assuming you want to ask out a coworker ... Just throw in a line ... Hey, really enjoy your comments at our meetings ... I'd like to have lunch with you ....

I would propose the place, somewhere safe and "worky."

The funny thing is that I would have lunch with a coworker who I was just friends/coworker with ... and somewhere along the line ... things became more flirty ...

It's a great strategy in life to ask to lunch anyone you really want to spend time with. If you're scared, keep the initial request work related ... if you have non-work conversation with person and have a bit more confidence, just say you would love to meet them for lunch

this is another thing.. If I do muster the courage then should I ask him to coffee on the work premises ie during work or suggest meeting after work? We work in a hospital in a small town most the time we cannot leave the hospital during the day in case of an emergency. So it has to be on site or off it

Any more advice before I potentially make a fool of myself in front of the whole workplace ??

Have you joked or flirted around with him?

Does he seem to seek you out for conversation?

Has he given you any sign that he is interested in being more than just coworkers.

Sorry to say this but it is never a good idea to date coworkers....ever.

My wife (who asked me out on a date at work) and I are so glad, we didn't buy such advice close to 23 years ago. As we happily get closer to sharing, our 20th wedding anniversary.

2.50 a gallon

I met my ex-W the first time at the pool. She was totally fold out material, she in her swim suit was more than an eyeful. After talking for awhile, I mentioned I needed to go back to my apartment to refresh my drink. Somebody had given me a sign which read, "Make me an Offer I can't refuse" She read me the sign and said how about these, and took her top off.

Well , l'm fairly old school but never the less nah l wouldn't be put off or hold it against her at all, l'd feel quite flattered actually.

But the main thing would be if l was interested l probably would've asked her by then.
