crazyguy123
So I assume my girlfriend and I broke up. The last time we talked was on sunday. We got into a big fight because she wanted me to move in. I wasn't ready for that just yet. Then she began saying "if you're not ready now you'll never be ready." Anyways, I made another post about this a few days ago. So like, since we haven't really spoken, I assume it's over? Honestly, I am just really upset and needed to rant. She is quite controlling and toxic. It was my birthday and I was with my family. I told her I would come over after I see them. While I was with them, she was calling and texting and I was not able to answer. She bailed on our plans half hour before I was suppose to see her because she was too upset about how unavailable I was to get back to her. Anyways question for you, all! What would you do if you got into a big fight with your girlfriend? How do you handle it? I usually just don't talk to them until they are ready to talk to me.
nobody12
well unless if you dont care about her , this is what id do. i would go to the store, by a **** ton of roses, go see her in person, appollgize to her. ask her to talk . even write out a letter on how you feel so that you dont leave anything out , and when its her turn to talk let her talk and listen. ExpatInItaly
This is the same girl you complained about in another thread a couple days ago, yes? The one who totally pushes you around and tries to control you through manipulation? You need to learn to recognize a dead-end relationship when you see one. This is not healthy and I would let the relationship remain over.
basil67
She's controlling and toxic and dumped you because you were having dinner with your family and not at her beck and call on the phone? I'd wish her good riddance. Who wants that kind of drama in their lives?

littleblackheart
There is no 'dumping' as of yet, since you've not spoken. Give her a call when you are less upset, tell her you won't move in with her and end it once and for all. At least the situation will be clearly resolved for you both. assertives
Call her and ask. But I would say if she managed to pick such a big fight with you over not being able to be at her beck and call while you are celebrating your birthday with your family, is controlling and toxic as you've mentioned, I'd strongly encourage you to think twice about continuing this relationship. Life's too short for drama like this and a controlling and toxic relationship will only sap your energy.

basil67
A partner who drops off the radar is effectively dumping you. You no longer owe them answers, communication or exclusivity.
