The precise nature of that man, that woman, and why he lost his feelings in the first place will naturally impact whether he does regain his feelings, but it's certainly possible.

Once feelings are gone, they generally don't resurface. In something like a marriage with a lot of marriage counseling & hard work some couples may be able to keep it together.
