d0nnivain Posted February 24, 2019 Share Posted February 24, 2019 I tell 2 reunion success stories every once in a while. Neither involve lost feelings. Both involve time to grow up. Couple 1, my college roommate. She & her husband started dating in 7th grade. Senior year of college he wanted to "spread his wings". She was devastated. 2 years later he came crawling back. She made him beg for another two years. Then she took him back & put him through med school. They have been married for over 25 years now with two accomplished daughters. Couple 2 dated in HS. Senior year she dumped him, telling him to grow up. At age 24 they reconnected at a party & got married last summer after dating for about 5 years as adults, living together for 2+ Everybody else who tried reconciliation made it a few months at most. 1 Link to post Share on other sites
