How much to push participation

I saw them more than enough at school and I was involved in many sports... I just wanted some alone time.

If your child is involved in sports - or any team activity, for that matter, I wouldn't push then to socialize beyond that. There's a healthy approach somewhere between "tiger mom" over-scheduling and allowing your kid to sit in her room all day every day...

It's possible she's introverted and just doesn't like to be around people, only on her terms and when she feels like it. Does she seem happy most of the time?

Music, photography, art, there are so many options for her to try.

You say she's anxious about new situations, meeting new people etc, that's normal but does she suffer from anxiety and panic attacks? Any sign of depression?

Trying therapy again is always an option.
