So today when it was 1 hour until the game started he said that I could not come because he had to help he's mother. 30 minutes later he called me just to ask about the link to the match and I said this: "Why do you need the link? why can't we watch it together since you're asking?" He said this: "Because I need it to be able to watch it" I said: "Then go and find it yourself" I got the feeling that he didn't want to watch the game with me. The reason is because he didn't gave me a real answer when I said that we could watch it at my house. OR it was just an excuse when he said that he had to help he's mom. A very stubborn friend I guess. It could also be possible that he's mom didn't want any guest but either way cancelling and then ask for the link to the stream is kinda suspicious. I'll say what I feel and I feel that he used he's mom as an excuse. He really did not want to watch it with me What are your opinion on this? If they do only occasionally, let it go. If they do it frequently, let the friendship go. Thanks for understanding! However this was not the first time. The first time he made me wait 30 min for him. He said meet me in the city centre at 5, then when it's 5 he said 5:30. basil67 Posted May 1, 2019 Share Posted May 1, 2019 At least he messaged you to let you know he'd be late. It gave you time to spend in other stores or even change plans as to where you'd meet. For example, chill in a cafe or bookstore rather than wait on the street. If he was at university, sometimes lectures go later than usual. Link to post Share on other sites

Plans with him need to be you doing something & if he shows up great, but if he doesn't you still go have fun. You have assume he will let you down & arrange your social calendar accordingly. You’re right, he can’t be trusted but I won’t make any plans with him anymore. He likes to take it as it comes as I have noticed. Had alot of missed chances, but I think they played well. Barca just took good use of their best player and their chances.
