spiderowl
This sounds a bit like something I've encountered in online dating. In that scenario, a guy contacts me, saying something nice. I reply and we have a bit of conversation, nothing deep, then he will suddenly say something rude or abusive. Of course the conversation ends then because I will not put up with that. These people seem to get a kick out of hurting others so they set you up. Even if she hadn't set you up deliberately, she was rude and insensitive - also a trait of abusive personalities. Yes, you dodged a bullet!
preraph
Look, this is why you don't make sex your first date. Okay? Truth is people come across differently in person than how they portray themselves online. It's not just about looks but about how you act and carry yourself, whether you seem confident or awkward. How you move. Does it mean no woman will ever find you attractive? No. There's all kinds of women. I suggest you try dating instead of hooking up if you want to find one who likes you.
