primer
Do any of you have experience with emotional clearing? Definition: Emotional Clearing is the practice of bringing awareness to our mental and emotional compulsions and reactions in order to "heal" them or integrate them. What are your thoughts on it? CautiouslyOptimistic
Sounds like therapy to me.....
Author primer
It's not with a therapist or psychiatrist. It is more of an alternative medicine thing. This is the explanation from the clinic I have an appointment at: Emotional Clearing The human body is an intricately designed organism — body, soul, and spirit — that needs to be synergistically maintained. Many people are unfamiliar with the fact that toxic emotions, harmful neurotransmitter chemicals, and stress can efficiently “cut the circuit breaker” of communication between the brain and all other areas of the body. More alarmingly, this can have a permanent effect on health! People are amazed to see how easily these chemical-altering energies can be found and removed through a simple process of muscle testing. An Emotional Clearing practitioner can identify the offending emotion and release it via a non-invasive photon and/or magnetic therapy, which often results in the sudden disappearance of physical problems, self-sabotage, and recurring relationship difficulties. Patients experience calming and freeing sensations and realize the release of mental, physical, and spiritual roadblocks.
Orokotikki
"photon and/or magnetic therapy" this is hocus pocus. If you are someone easily hypnotized or responds strongly to placebo effect, it may be helpful. Otherwise I strongly suggest find a good IC if want to work through your issues and emotionally clear them. In the past I have seen my wife and MIL taken in on VERY similar things for thousands of dollars over time withe extremely limited, very temporary results. Thats all I have to say on that and wish you the best.
CautiouslyOptimistic
Ohhh, ok. I have a friend who just opened one of these photon therapy places. Haven't been, though, so I don't have an opinion.
Mr. Lucky
Patients experience calming and freeing sensations and realize the release of mental, physical, and spiritual roadblocks. You can get the same thing from an intense workout. These places prey on the needy and uninformed. Save your money... Mr. Lucky
Author primer
I think I will go to my "consultation" and then decide from there. I am a skeptic.
preraph
I'm also a skeptic, but I have read a lot about emotions being stored in muscle. I think it's more likely what you're having when someone hits that spot is an association since I've never heard of massage alone curing misery, though it is pleasant except when you get one of those rough beatches.
