We had a real bad break up and she got a new boyfriend just about a month later. They are still together as of this day. 5 years and we had NO contact. I mean NONE. We would pretty much pretend not to see each other if we bumped into each other some place. A few days ago I noticed that she watched my instagram story. Few hours later her best friend watched my story. 5 years and suddenly they both watch my story. I visit her instagram page and watch hers. She watches my next one and so one. This has been going on for a few days. I don’t know what she wants really. Why now after 5 years of pretending I don’t exist. She knows I see her watch my stories and she keeps watching. I have no desire to get back together with her. But she was a big part of my life and I would love to talk and catch up now that We are both over it and older. Should I reach out or leave it be? I mean, when internet came about, everyone was looking everyone up, good or bad, out of curiosity. But maybe she will contact you. I wouldn't do anything unless she actually said hi. She's probably just interested in what you're doing now....and may well be open to a coffee as friends. Or she's rudely mocking you.
