my ex keeps reaching out?

since weve broken up ive recieved all sorts of messages. like the late night texts, the angry messages. random photos or memes. hundreds of texts asking for money.

 

the most recent one

-she asked if she could use the air conditioner. and said 'nvm'

 

-then she asked me out for breakfast with our daughter. never went because i was busy but when i suggested the next day she said 'nvm'

 

-then she asked me to start taking our daughter half time(which is what i wanted) and i said oh thats why you wanted breakfast , and she said no its because it was a nice day and because she 'thought of me'

 

then she messaged some story about my kid swearing and ended it with an 'xoxo'

 

now she me to go to the insurance place with her.

 

like after she broke up with me and had her quarter life crisis everything has been a mess. and she went balistic and cruel and psycho on me. and did a lot of mean things.

 

i love her , i want her back . but the damage is pretty bad that she did this time.

 

why is she lingering around? what do you all think, what does she want????

Hate to tell you this but because you share a child with her, she is in your life forever.

 

If she needs an air conditioner, you should have given it to her because odds are your daughter was hot too. If she needs you to go to the insurance place with her you need to make sure your daughter is fully covered.

 

She is reaching out not because she wants you per se but because she doesn't want to be alone & she wants you to "save" her. She sounds like a mess. Love her all you want but understand she's a lousy prospect for a long term partner & from where I sit no great shakes as a mom. Get your joint custody situation worked out with a lawyer & court order sooner rather than later to make sure your child is safe & stable.

 

Do not take a ballistic, mean, cruel psycho person back but do make sure your kid is safe.
