Author nospam99
I'm picturing (a woman in your demographic) baking cookies for the grandchildren, decorating the Christmas tree, wrapping presents (for grand kids), etc. Please, man ... and then strapping on the 'boards' (skis in this case) and hitting the slopes the day after Christmas (grandkids on their new snowboards welcome) and dancing the night away New Year's Eve
Trail Blazer
@nospam99 I've read several of your threads about OLD, and I don't think anything has changed in 15+ years since I tried OLD. I tried on-line dating briefly, found it to be a disaster and gave up on it. Your situation reminds me of a lesson I learned many years ago when trying to remove an exhaust manifold on an old Ford. I put penetrating oil on all of the studs prior to attempting to remove them. The first nut on the stud I tried to turn broke off immediately. Then I tried a second nut and that broke off, as well. So I stopped and thought, do I want to break every single stud on this head or do I want to try something different. I went and got my torch and heated up the next stud and the nut came off and so did all the rest. I learned if something doesn't work, don't just keep repeating the same procedure over and over again, as the result will probably be the same. Good work, my friend. So, did you enlist the use of a left handed drill bit to remove the broken studs? Or, some other alternative means?
OatsAndHall
This time of year has always been difficult when it comes to OLD and I tend to stay away from the sites during the holidays. I've met many women over the holidays that are simply lonely. We have a good time for a few weeks/months because dating fills some of that loneliness but things change once the season is over. They come out of their holiday funk and I stop being "that" guy in a Hallmark movie for them.
Happy Lemming
Good work, my friend. So, did you enlist the use of a left handed drill bit to remove the broken studs? Or, some other alternative means? My father had some old "EZ outs". So I drilled the correct size hole for the "EZ out". Heated up the broken stud, then slowly tightened the "EZ out" (using steady even pressure) and the broken stud came out.
Ellener
I don't plan to date over the holidays OatsandHall, what you said- I assume some men get lonely/mushy the same! I'm busy with my friends, son, work and stuff and I'll think about dating again in a few weeks. I've been doing activities where I meet new men, and a new job there are always women saying you should meet --- usually with some caveat or other
