Girl Pulled Away Due to Stress

I feel for you man, I remember days where I couldn’t eat, time where I would literally throw up because I couldn’t keep food down. I can promise it does pass.

What I found was huge for me was reconnecting with the things I used to love but let fade away.(this detail will make me totally identifiable if anyone I know reads this) but I moved across the country and lived in whistler for years. Growing up I loved skiing and biking, so I did that. I finished the phase of school I was in and moved, no job lined up, no where to live, no car, no family, or friends around, $1000 in my bank account, enough to buy some food and pay one months rent lol.

And I lived. I did the things I wanted.

Put yourself first and keep your head up man, put effort into the things you love and it’ll make your pain a little more bearable, and eventually it will be gone.

I know. I've been through heartbreak before...but at least in the past it was either my decision or I could respect hers. In this case, it blind sided me. TBH she was just too young, too inexperienced, too immature, and too uncomfortable with herself and I know that I will be better off and find someone else in the long run. It just sucks because I had so much invested in our long term success and she was the gentle, kind, affectionate soul I was hoping to find - but while I get angry from time to time still and certainly overcome with grief and pain, I wish her the best. She will have a long road ahead of her without someone decent by her side, but that's her choice and her life and her mistakes she has to make.

And yeah - the problem for me is just getting to a point where I can manage the pain so I can focus on those things I love and put myself into them.

Cheers to us! And good job with your processing of this relationship. Sorry it didn't work out, but at least you found out at 3 months and not my 22 months :)
