What do you really want in your life now?

Recommended Posts

Actually... that's 100% legal... assuming you can legally own a firearm. You just can't sell them, or make them fully auto.

Oh I know. Although tbh can you see merrick having it and not making an automatic?

I hope Donald Trump gets another 4 years in office. Whatever you may think of him, the most miraculous thing is that for the past 3+ years, he has kept the federal government completely useless and out of our hair. Never in the entire history of our great nation has the government been so powerless, having accomplished so little. Both the House and the Senate are sitting in the corner with dunce caps on their pea heads, picking their butts... It is So Damn Liberating! Maybe in another 4 years, all the crooks, reprobates, perverts, liars, and prevaricators will have left for greener pastures> :lmao: Even if he is successfully impeached, I will vote for him in the next election..

Ahh... a man can but dream.

hmmn aged 39,

I hope my health will continue, a few little niggles appearing, alopecia and white eyelashes, I tend to be a worrier particularly about health issues so I hope health wise I will be ok,

Following on from the above, I need to handle stress much better, work is ok but can be stressful at times. (being a worrier is not good)

I hope my Mother keeps going strong, she is not getting any younger but her enthusiasm for life and active nature is an inspiration.

Like a few on this site I have had some difficulties with the ladies, but I really like my current girlfriend and am hopeful she is the one.

my original post on this forum, that particular friendship situation has not changed in any way since last January,

I value the importance of friendships and I wish for getting that friendship back on track or at the very least finding one or two closer friends than I have at the moment,

so thats where I am at!

28, and probably feeling more lost than I have at any point in my life so far. I've come to the end of the road of university studies, and working a casual research job. Pays well but isn't certain beyond about 6 months. I have no idea what to do after this career wise.

What I seem to think I want at the moment:

- A job that I enjoy. Whatever that means. I'll take a pay cut if I have to, but I still have to be able to live off it and perhaps even make enough to save for a house over the next 7-10 years. With house prices the way they are here I can't make it sooner than that.

- Sort out my mental health properly. I keep falling into the same problems, and they seem to have a lot to do with my relationships.

- Make friends that share my interests, and can see often to have a laugh with. Although to be fair, I'm doing well on this front.

- Live in a place large enough to entertain said friends. I don't necessarily have to own it.

- See the world. Slightly more out there: Be in a situation where I can do so and really take my time.

Before anyone asks, I'm sure there will come a time where marriage and kids may be something I really want. That time is not now by any means.

49 F “together and married 30 years” I’m in the best shape I’ve been in, working so hard for it the last 4 years. Great job, financially pretty good, happy with myself, my home and inside my own skin. No children by choice. But not happy with my husband at all, get along good, we are good friends and roommates. That’s it! Craving the affection and love of a man that I deserve, have been so ignored and neglected so long. So afraid to go the rest of my life without real love and passion. Screaming inside.

Or manufacturing firearms lol

Actually, automatic would very easy...no machine tools necessary most of the time. And no, I won't say how, and I don't do it myself.

My dream is actually to manufacture really large single-shot falling-block style rifles, safari double rifles, or do something like the British Martini-Henry (but bigger.) And of course be able to make my own car parts. But if I was able to make quality rifles, I might get a manufacturing license and a dealers license so I could do it commercially. Until the machines that can do it aren't so huge (and expensive) I doubt I can convince my husband to allocate the space necessary for my crazy project. But a girl can always dream, right?

53, female

- A better job with a manager who appreciates my work. Working on this.

- Ability to sleep through the night. This is a struggle, but I’m managing with meds.

- Comfort in my own skin. Don’t think this is going to happen, but I’m trying to be more forgiving of my shortcomings. It’s hard.

- To lose 10 pounds. Continually working on this but it’s hard because meds make me hungry.

- Would really love to have a close intimate relationship with a decent man. Don’t think this is going to happen. But I do have some lovely people in my life, and for them I am grateful.

I actually think retiring would solve many of my problems. Still have at least 6 years to go though.

Update , a 1979 car , truck really, my all time favorite and something l'd keep till l croke, has come up.

It could easily be my everyday drive for another 30yrs, can't say what it is ex w may be floating round and l don't want her knowing my crap, she'd recognize it, very unusual. But not only, done up to my tastes they're about the coolest car out there . l owned one before, sold it, many regrets. lt is a 4wd.

Let me put you to sleep with a few details. lt's completely stock still used everyday, zero rust, dead straight, original paint, not even a dent. lt does have a different motor the originals were way under powered so that's very common, been garaged right through, 2 owners, and believe it or not 35k on the clock, for real and it's very cheap. He uses it to get firewood, my heart breaks.

l can afford it but it'd be a bit of a juggle right now , damn it.

To juggle or not to juggle.:bunny:

What about you?

In my 48th year I want my 16 year old daughter to survive the anorexia, which is slowly killing her and has already robbed her of so much life through the past 12 months.

Eternal Sunshine

I just turned 40.

Life has been tough lately with my dad battling advanced cancer. I just want him to get better but chances are very slim.

My new job has been extremely stressful. I want this to settle or find a job where I can have inner peace, even with less money and lower title. Trying to make a decision which way to go.

I want to lose 20lbs.

That's about it. I have zero desire for romantic relationships or new friends. Even if I met a unicorn, I wouldn't change my mind at this point.

I have a 30-yr-old daughter who is just now starting to come out of the woods on this issue. If you ever have any questions or just need to vent, feel free to message me. I've spent the last 15 years dealing with it. My oldest daughter (35) is also anorexic, but has a completely different way of dealing with it. I've actually been trying to get my 30-yr-old to try some of her techniques (because I know it is something they will always live with. The trick is how well they deal with their symptoms when they arise.)

I wish you and your daughter the best. Feel free to message me.

- A few decent and reliable paying clients

- A kinky, loving, and beautiful goth girlfriend

- A group of like minded musicians to create art with

- My family and friends who are already here

- All the naysayers to go away

I hope that your Daughter comes through her anorexia and thrives. I have a friend who's son was going thru that. He was in a situation where he could stay in town to see his song thur this. Or go to another town and join his new GF and build a life with her. The GF won. He came back to town 4 months later.

Ever since then. I have not talked to him on a regular basis. I am disappointed that he chose his GF over his son. All he would have done is delayed his move by 6 months.

Your my hero 5x5.
