Springsummer
I know very few people in this city. but it seems almost every single guy I encountered in life turn up in Tinder. Looks like I have a very good memory with facial recognition though. Maybe it's because I used to draw portraits. I met someone in an interview 7-8 months ago and I recalled where I met her when she sat next to me in a training last week. anyway, back to the topic. I just am swiping tinder. wait a minute, this guy look familiar? oh, yes, I met him a few weeks ago as internal client(big org, lots of buildings, I rarely meet client in person). Another guy I just met on an event, swiped me on tinder the next day. Another I had lunch with in a group wiped me right also. all way too young for me(I wear big sun glass on my tinder pic, so don't think they necessary recognize me). The guy I am attracted not turning up in tinder, guess that's bad news. Is it normal with Tinder? how shocking is this? that's why I don't show my face clearly, but only with full body pics to show my figure. and I need to follow up with him soon on his request. mr_ybor
I'm a man. I'm on Tinder. It kinda sucks, I suppose, because I'm effectually too ugly for it, so I don't pay too much attention to it. Not sure what you're asking here? Are people on it? Yes.
d0nnivain
Before Tinder existed, one of my female friends was on Match. Her 2nd job was a weekend bartender at a local place. Every night at least 2-3 guys would say "hey I saw you on Match." The fact that you have good facial recognition skills makes it easier for you to place people but since those algorithms factor in geographical location it makes sense that you will see people IRL that you saw on the various sites. Michelle ma Belle
You could say that about any dating site/app for that matter. I've had this experience many times over the years. It's just how people meet these days so it's not uncommon to see familiar faces online these days.
chillii
Yeah , when l was on one way back when saw a lot of women l knew of or just seen around , some had been in my kitchen dropping kids off chatting, you name it, lt was really weird . My areas sort of a triangle of 5 or 6 small towns about 50km radios then there's the main city 25mins . No one, ever , forgets a face, it's always amazed us. See someone somewhere once, 1 second 5 years ago see them again somewhere boom instantly they'll recognize you, it's always made me edgy, grew up in a large city l'm private and use to being anonymous. So l can't believe anyone puts their face and all this personal stuff up on date sites round here. Then again, suppose FB is 10x worse than that and they all do that soooo, what's the difference l guess.
