Jason99
Well my family isn't doing to good money wise and my dad is really struggling to pay the bills consider his pay isn't enough to cover late gas bill, car payment ,school payment for my sister (I know she can go to public school my my parents rather have her in a safe place),rent and so on .Well i quit my job to get into this automotive school and the hours of the school honestly wont allow me to work and do school. The hours are 6:40 -12:50 or 2 to 8 PM which doesn't include the 2 hour trip to the school and 2 hours back So pretty much my whole day will be at school. My parents say just worry about school and we will be ok but things are not ok and considering I'm 22 I really don't have years to keep putting off .I said after high school I will take a year off working and get into school which turned into 4 years so what should I do. This_Too_Shall_Pass
Why don't you move out and relocate somewhere near your school? 4 hours of commuting everyday is a gross waste of time. You can probably rent a place and share it with a couple of students if you like. With a part-time job, you should be fine. Right now, there's nothing you can do to help your family in the monetary sense - and vice versa. So all you can do is somehow make things possible for yourself. And once you're on track, I'm sure things will pan out for you and you might be able to help in easing your family's financial troubles. Good luck!
quankanne
look into financial aide -- scholarships, grants, work study program offered by a company who will hire you and pay for your classes. There's help out there, you've just got to beat the bushes a bit to find it.
