VinCeee
Hey everyone, I’m new in this forum and i’m currently in a LDR (same country but opposite sides) trying to find out how one could make his/her long-distance relationship a lot easier Which is why I have two very simple questions: What are the 2 biggest issues you’re dealing with in a LDR? Regarding your relationship, what would you wish for more than anything else (of course less distance but what behaviour from him/her and what from you)? Thanks so much in advance - looking forward to reading your answers! Stay strong ♥
preraph
Distance is the obvious one. The other is you don't know what the other person is actually doing, but you can be pretty sure they are just continuing to live their normal life, and if that means seeing others or being open to it, that's what that means. d0nnivain
I did a bi-coastal LDR decades ago when all we had was snail mail & 1 phone call on Wednesday nights after 11 pm EST when the long distance rates went down. We were lucky in that we got to see each other once every 3 months. We sent daily letters & little tokens when one of us did something outside our routine. Like if I went to NYC, I'd send him a pencil that said I [heart] NY. If he went to Disneyland I got a Mickey Mouse shaped something. Just stupid trinkets but they helped. You now have all sorts of technology so staying in touch is much easier. Just keep the lines of communication open & focus on when the distance will close.
