Metsgal Posted December 15, 2019 Share Posted December 15, 2019 Debating if I should go to a NYE party at an venue, all I know is that there will be DJ's playing, drinks, seems like a big event space. What are the chances that there will be single guys? Or will everyone be coupled up, because obviously I assume couples kiss each other at midnight, but is going to an New years eve party a lonely event for single people? At that time I decided to stop looking for a girlfriend. I understood that there is plenty of fish in the sea and nothing bad gonna happen if I stop looking for 3-5 years and concentrate on myself instead. Whether this person is somebody you want to be with or not, that is another story, but I don't think there is any question that you will find somebody willing. There are also the high priced ones with the views of Times Square that will be filled with tourists. Everyone goes out for New Year's Eve, not just couples. If it's one of those standard New York "open bar for $100" deals, I bet there will be no shortage of single people. You'll probably meet 2 guys waiting in line to get your drinks. You might as well make friends with them because you're going to be waiting for your drinks for 20 minutes+, at least that's how it was the last time I went to one of those things.
