Vanity1
During summer 2017, as I was alone at the mall waiting for my cousin to show up a guy sat beside me and asked for my name, we started talking long story short, he asked for my number and I gave it to him. During our convo I learned that he was in his early 20s and he was alone, just got out of school. We talked on the phone and texted as friends, thing is I had a bf at the time and one night when I couldn’t answer his call ,he kept calling my phone over and over again until my bf noticed and picked up! He cussed out my boyfriend. Yes he was aware that I had a boyfriend. I ended up blocking and deleting him. Now fast forward to yesterday- I get a random number calling me I didn’t pick up. Then he texted me right after asking what’s up, i asked who it was and it ended up being him. I ended up talking to him for a bit, catching up kept it short. I ended up blocking him again. And then today I got a random call from a different number, it was him again. I met this guy once in person, at the mall. And we had convos on the phone, and during texts...is it just me or highly red flags?or is it a guy just interested in a girl? Edited January 4, 2020 by Hurtx10
schlumpy
The red flag is your willingness to give up your phone number to a random guy chatting you up at the mall. So how did your BF take it being cussed out by a rival he didn't know he had?

He didn’t make a big fuss with me, he cheated on me all the time. So I kept my options open. It wasn’t a serious relationship.
snowboy91
He met you once at the mall and decided to obsessively try to contact you on different numbers? That's quite creepy. What are you getting out of your interactions with this guy? You make it seem like he's some distant acquaintance but he's seeing it as something more. If it's making you uncomfortable then you are well within your rights to block interaction with him... and make it clear you're doing so.

d0nnivain
The whole situation is bad. Do tell him that you would prefer not to talk but keep some kind of list of all the random numbers. This sounds like it could become very troublesome. I'm not going to jump all the way to mental illness but it can't be ruled out. This guy definitely has boundary issues.
