Grassman2017
I’ve had a happy, platonic friendship with a woman I met at my local gym 4 years ago. For whatever reason neither one of us ever pursued more than friendship. It’s nice having a female friend because you can delve a little deeper than just sports. I just found out she’s moving across country for work and I’m really upset. This came out of nowhere!! While I know we’ll still communicate via email and social media, it still feels like a huge loss!! I’ve seen her almost daily for 4 years and now that’s ending. Even though she’s “just moving,” it feels like a death and I’m not sure how to cope. Any thoughts?
JTSW
Hi Grassman. You will get use to it in time and you will still be able to talk to her every day. That will help. Is there anyone who can go to the gym with you to keep you company? x
