I haven't been trained in a new area like I was told, yet others have been trained?

I've been at my job for 9 months now, I noticed I haven't been trained in this new area, while everyone else that have started before me, are trained. What really irritates me though, is that they ended up training 2 people that were hired after me. For example, this guy that came in 2 weeks after me-they trained him in that new area, and this girl that came in like 2 MONTHS after me, trained her in that area. I'm like what the heck? And to top that off the "new guy' that came in 2 weeks after me, ended up quitting so seems like they wasted their time training him. My supervisor even told me I was going to get trained, but instead of training me in that new area, she and the 2 other leads just pile up work for me to do towards the end of the day, they do give that same work to my other coworkers but not as much as me. 

Any good reason why they haven't trained me that new area yet? Or are they going to fire me for no reason in the future by not investing time in me? I can't think of any logical reason, except that  they don't like me/want to see do more things or some type of favortism

Speak up.  Remind your boss that you are looking forward to the training & take some initiate to learn more about the area on your own.

I'm afraid to say something to her about training in a new area because I was put on disciplinary action 4 months ago for using shortcuts when I wasn't suppose to, I don't know if that has anything to do with why I haven't been trained yet, so far I haven't been using any shortcuts and I've been doing good. It just seems that I'm the type of "person" that supervisors look past me or I get pass over to whatever job and the other person gets that job. But what really irritates me now is that they decide to give me all of the work of what I know and don't even bother to give it other people, like every week I'm the only person to get that work, and they don't even split it up with the others. I'm like wth? It could be because my desk is close to the front of where all the supervisors/leads sit, but there's another row that's closer to them, why not give it to the others instead of me practically every day/every week. Also, there are 2 new people working there now, so why not give that work to them now-it would make sense to give it to them since they are new and need some practice. 

Do they have something against me because of those shortcuts that I did 4 months ago?

It could.  If you were taking shortcuts when you were only trained in some areas, they might not trust you enough to add more work areas to your pile.

Possible. You're new (9 months) and within a short time (5 months) you're already not following protocol by using shortcuts (possibly more than once as general jobs it's verbal warning, written warning, etc.). 

If there isn't favoritism involved (my last job the boss was plain incompetent & the "ass kissers" got favoured above actually talented staff) in general jobs prefer to train people that they know they can trust in more than one role or basic responsibilities.

Well, I received that disciplinary action 4 months ago and in May it will be 1 year since I've worked there. I haven't been taking any shortcuts. I know since I got that disciplinary action that could lead to me getting fired if I were to do any major mistake again, but I haven't since then.  Should I sit in silence and wait or ask my supervisor if I will get trained? Its kind of like, maybe I don't want to ask since now they think I'm some screw up, but I'm not. Any why are they sooo hung up on employees making mistakes anyway? Everyone at work makes mistakes. When I first started working there,  HR screwed up my work schedule by putting me down working 7 hours a day, instead of 8 hours a day. I had to tell my supervisor TWICE about it , since she didn't really do anything the first time I mentioned it to her. Also, way before I was given that disciplinary action, 3 months in of me working there, I was given a review-just saying that I made goal, I was suppose to acknowledge it in the system, only if she acknowledge it first, I told my supervisor I couldn't find the link to it, then she came back and said she "forgot" to send it to HR first to get approval and THEN I could find the link to acknowledge. I'm like WTF? Seeing that HR make a mistake on my schedule and my supervisor messing up, why should I be punished?

You set yourself four months back.  I wouldn’t trust you in a new area if you can’t even do your first job well. 
 

Seems the world is just against you 🙄

So what now? I'm not going to get trained in a new area until when? Like I said, I haven't even made any mistakes nor used any type of shortcuts since then.  I know the issue is about "trust' but what does the employee have to prove? People that come out of prison and who were locked up for petty crime and "more likely to get jobs" because employers feel sorry for them all because they deserve a second chance? While all I did was use shortcuts on a few documents, its not like I stole money, embezzled cash, downloaded porn on company owned computers, there are people in the news that do far off worse things than me, and they can get away with it?

All the work needs done and whilst people are being trained in new areas, then it is sometimes better to leave a person who knows what they are doing in the old area The new people need trained so they might as well be trained in the new area straight away. 
If they put the new people into your job and you into the new job then everyone is in a job they know little about so the total work rate will suffer.

There’s probably more to it than just your “shortcuts”. You appear to feel very hard done by and you display traits here in your post that I’m sure surface in other aspects of your life. 
 

In all honesty, you’re probably one of those people whose social media posts will prevent them from getting hired or promoted. 
By your own accounts here, you display poor judgement and you make very poor decisions. I wouldn’t give you more responsibility if I were your boss. 
 

The crazy thing is that you don’t even recognise these flaws in yourself so fixing them is going to be hard. If you haven’t learned them by the ripe old age of “nearly 40”, I daresay you won’t learn them at all.

Yeah, that's how it works in our dept. We're on productivity and rates, etc.
