Woggle
I would be lying if I said I didn't have fond memories of my time with my ex before everything went to hell but that was a completely different person. The change was that drastic.
LivingWaterPlease
I have four exes I was deeply involved with for years (not at the same time, serially). I still find all of them attractive but only two of them could I ever be emotionally attracted to again. Both would have to have made some changes as both are married by now. Interestingly, they are similar in appearance. Edited March 3, 2020 by LivingWaterPlease
mark clemson
In my case it's been a long time (20+ years) as these are old GFs, not xWs. There are two I have seen pictures of on the web. Both of them were awesome, 1 in looks 1 less in looks (although still ok looking) but a wonderful personality. In my youth I would have stayed with either of them. Time has not been kind to either of them, so I in all honesty don't find them pretty anymore. The sweet one had a rough life, including inability to have kids and breast cancer. She seems bitter now and not particularly pleasant as well as not that great looking (a bit haggard + with a "Karen meme" haircut). So no. The other is the one who (in my early 20's/college age) was a "10" in my and many others' opinions. I think her personality may have actually improved (she was a bit high maintenance but now is apparently a psychotherapist so at least comes across as friendly). However she looks like a plump asian grandma. Nothing wrong with that, but again not attractive to me specifically. I haven't found others on my occasional web searches for old friends, but these two simply didn't age well. Today I'd pick my wife (who probably has never been as sweet/easy to get along with as the sweet one was and definitely never as attractive as the 22 y.o. asian dancer was in her prime) over either of them, hands down.
