I got out of that one quick. Disgusting pervert. It was a minor he got busted with too. Do your own background checks on these guys. I know there are good men online but this one was not. I just want ladies to be careful and not get caught off guard like I did. I just wish background checks were required for safe dating. There is no way that every person can be checked. Also, at what point do you prevent someone from creating a profile? If every person knew ahead of time that their profile would not be made public until a PAID background check was had, then I can see TONS of people not joining. Not because of felonies, but even minor misdemeanor, financial information that may be discovered. The key is to do your own as you suggest AND insist that the people you get involved with provide as much information about themselves in regards to identity as possible. At a certain point, they should be transparent about who they are, where they work, where they live, etc. Right? Google them. FB/Twitter them. Do cursory searches for them. Pay for your own.
