I then said "you're never going to feel the same about me again are you?" he replies with something along the lines of "ugh fine if you want it to be like this then no, as of right now, but like I said we can't predict the future... Don't just write me off forever though." Immediately after that response I stopped texting him and now I've FINALLY powered through almost a month of no contact. He hasn't reached out. Any thoughts on his mindset or what my next step should be? (besides focusing on myself--I'm definitely working on all that. I'm not obsessing over the situation however he still crosses my mind and I really do miss him.) Link to post Share on other sites

You can't wait for someone under the hope of a future that will likely never materialize. I don't know the details of your situation, but he said he's not going to feel the same about you as of right now. Operate under that assumption. He can always reach out if something changes, and (if you still want him by then) you can decide at that point how to proceed.
