Wondering if I should tell you about the swinging 70's

I didn't grow up in a western society. Now I am in one, for more than half of my life. There are just so many things that are the opposite of what I used to think and believe.

no idea about the 70's here. now you are telling me I am too young lol

Yep, one of my friends (who's now in her 50's) used to be mortified at her parent's swinging antics when she was growing up.

Ahhh, it's only one very selected attention seeking bs story from one paper in whatever country about 1 fkd up couple. Mind you though l fully agree the world and people none the less sure seems to be down the toilet in many parts that's for sure if forums and internet have any real to them .

It's a story because it is salacious and surprising, this is the Guardian we are talking about.  It would not be a story (or click bait) if wife slept with gardener, man gets jealous and they divorce.

I believe people being OK with such arrangements is much lower than the amount of coverage they get.  What is good news is the UK is not a country where man finds out wife cheats on him, him and his relatives drag her to the street and stone or burn her...and that's considered just and moral.    Careful what you wish for when you look down on Western society because there are some people (a very small percentage I suspect) are polyamorous.
