littleblackheart
No harm done, @K.K. Honestly if it was by choice, and under different circumstances and I was on my own, I may like it too

I'm currently quarantined and it sucks beyond belief because 1. you absolutely can't go out. At all. You shouldn't really be leaving your room (I can't do that on account of having kids) and 2. If you're put on quarantine, it means someone in your family has symptoms. Not really freedom. I hope you are OK Littleblack...Hopefully, you have will miss it. I must say LOTS people out moving around today enjoying the sunshine and blue skies.
major_merrick
I got some time to enjoy things today. We had great weather outside, and the peach trees were covered in beautiful pink blossoms. Had the kids playing in the fresh grass out in the orchard, and the barn cats wandering around or laying in the sun. Wouldn't have known there was a thing wrong in the world. My husband came home in the afternoon and I ran out to meet him. We took a family photo together under the trees. Not something we do often, but it just seemed right. Looking at the photo, it reminds me so much of a photo of my husband's great-great-great grandfather around the time of the Civil War. My husband has a similar appearance, similar gray uniform, similar Russian wife (😁), and we're living on the same property. Time has a cycle, I guess. Our ancestors lived through hard times - famine, war, diseases, and economic issues. They made it, so can we.
