l went mad and finally bought a door for the toilet , it's a walk through type room and it's only had a curtain for 3 yrs . Yes l know the curtain hasn't been a real big hit with the ladies of the house haha buttttt, we can all soon take care of business in total privacy , well, when l put the door on anyway. My life is now complete, the car stops again and the toilet will soon have a door.

Working.....short handed, but thankful to be able to keep it going,,,.and a LOT of push ups......thousands since this mess started.....🥱😆

TFY

TFY keep rocking the "old school" workouts.  I have been amazed at how many different ways pals of mine have found to keep themselves stoked.  We take it for granted to be able to go to a multi million dollar facility with every gadget known to man and workout..  Good For You TFY but don't forget about those abs......

Bravo, man! You are getting your ducks in a row during this thing! I'll rest a little easier knowing you've got brakes on your car now, and having that bathroom privacy is pretty important.

Happy Lemming

I just came in from trimming two Acacia Willow Trees in my yard.  They don't grow all that fast, but it was time to clean them up a bit.  I got up early and got it done before it got too hot.

Job done, now what to do with the rest of my day??  Hmmm...

So yes I’m falling in love during this whole thing.  It’s probably not the best time to be doing that but whatever.

We worked together, I got let go, he still has his job although it’s been modified and he’s not making nearly what he use to but it’s a loyalty thing and doesn’t want to let them down.  See why I like him??

My last day he carried all my things from my office to my car for me and walked me out so I wasn’t all alone.  He took my number and it’s been on ever since.

So we kiss now.  For the longest time we didn’t but it was torture.  There’s only so much social distancing one can do.  And I figure we’ve already been exposed to each other from working together.

Anyhow, I really like him a lot.  We worked together at Trump Plaza in Atlantic City but I don’t remember him, not sure if he remembers me or not, but I was engaged, he was married.

The other day he told me he wasn’t sure if he should walk me to my car that last day or not but decided he let me walk out of his life once before and wasn’t gonna let that happen again.

This sounds good, Amaysngrace! He really likes you and you know him a little and know his habits a little bit from work. I am just thrilled for you!

All the (good) fabric stores are closed so I'm delving into my stash. Found some moleskin and am going to attempt a pair of jeans made from it.  So, I currently have calico on the cutting table to make a mockup and check the fit first.   I've never made jeans before, so it's a big learning curve.

So presumably because it's so quiet, and most businesses are shut down, I all of a sudden have been seeing more feral cats around my place of business...I surmise they are on the move looking for food, as they aren't able to scrounge as much anymore and the dumpster diving action is bleak...One particular little black one(looks like a female) looks scrawny/malnourished  and in need of some help...I went  to the feed store and got a bunch of cat food and also make sure they get some leftovers...I guess the only issue now is I can't police which cat(or even any other animal-I've also seen a few raccoons, etc) is getting to the food first...I did see a much larger and more robust tabby cat eating the food, so I suspect  this scrawny little kitty isn't getting her share..  I put out a few separate bowls in hope that they all don't compete for one food source...In the morning the food is all gone, so its getting eaten...no surprise there..

Like most feral cats, they scamper away at any sight of people/me...I've tried to call out to her at the usual time by shaking the food container(usually see her around 5-6 PM), she may be hearing me, but too scared to come out...She's definitely more around now that there is food to be had...But I can't get her to trust  me enough so I can make sure she is getting a shot...I don't think you could ever do that with a feral cat, not in the same way you would with a stray,,,but I dunno,..

Any advice is appreciated/welcomed....As if I need another thing to worry about right now....I can't help it though...

TFY

^^ lol you sound like me but the reverse. We had a "stray" huskie or Malamute show up on our porch and we fed him some cat food because he looked hungry. We thought he was going to be our new "porch dog" and we went to Petco and got dog food, when we got back he was gone and never showed up again.

See if you can catch her in a pet cage, If the kitty is young enough, she can be turned into a house pet. I've had pure alley cats turn into perfect house cats.

Yesterday I fixed my son's Tello EDU drone, hung a few pot hangers and towel racks, and installed a video doorbell. Today I'll probably do a few other things and get in some R&R. Monday, back to work, same as every other week.

Thanks to those taking are of the hungry animals during this.  Poor things.  Just leave food for them where you think they may have gotten it before.

I just finished and paid my federal taxes.  Next is the property tax battle, which I dread and they come at me every single year.  I don't even know if I can upload photos to them.  Last time I tried, it didn't even process most of them.  And this year I think they're not letting you come in person.

Man, as I prepare to return to work tomorrow, I can't help but feel I definitely didn't get as much done in the last... geez, like, two months I've been furloughed. At least as far as consuming entertainment, anyway. I remember I always used to think "Man, if I ever had, like, a solid month off where I didn't have to work or anything, I could probably get caught up on all the shows and movies I've been meaning to watch". But did I do that in the last two months? Not really. Made a little dent in it, sure. But I think the reality of the pandemic kind of sucked a lot of the desire to actually DO anything right out of me.

I suppose going back to work will make life feel a little more "normal", but I still hate not being able to see my friends anymore, and who knows what's going to happen with the world...

Honestly, I'm still kind of expecting we're going to have another "lockdown" period, either in the next couple of months, or in the fall/ winter.

Don't feel bad, Inflikted.  Mostly all I've gotten done being stuck at home is watching a whole lot of Gunsmoke reruns!

You know how felines are TFY, they respond to kind words spoken in soft tone, finger work mastery, and heavy petting. Look at her lovingly in the eyes too every now and again. Make her feel special. Hold on loosely when she lets you hold her, yet tight enough so that she knows you want her to be there. Don’t get her too stimulated or she may bite. Slow and steady wins the race.

A little of this goes a long way towards building trust and mutual pleasure. Maybe a special little treat for her as well, and that kitty’ll be eating out of your hands soon enough.

I am so enjoying these Gunsmoke reruns. Chester just said, "I got myself a little squashy gal all lined up for the evening. "

And Marshall Dillon says, "Well, I hope you didn't tell her."

Chester reminds me of this guy I always liked. He was tall and lean and long legged like that and even had a little limp.

I actually have a "date" Saturday night.  The guy I started seeing prior to the lockdown invited me over.  He's a full time musician who obviously hasn't been able to gig for the past 8 weeks and has spent most of his time in a remote area fishing.  He's back and he's going to cook fish for me.  Neither of us have been around other people other than for masked outings to the grocery store, so I don't think we're going to pose much of a risk to each other.  Part of me would rather wait a few more weeks, but I think that's a function of becoming the tiniest bit phobic of getting out again after all this time.  I do miss seeing him. We plan to have small group gatherings soon, backyard cookouts with music, so this is a good baby step to get ready for that.

Musicians are starting to play in arena parking lots and people can just pay for the car load just like if you were going to the old fashioned movie Drive-In. I love it but so far who's playing is all country I think. I would definitely go if it was the right band and might even enjoy the country.

I'm sewing face masks from patchwork fabric in my stash.  Now that our lock downs are softening, I feel we need them on public transport.  And our son has a bit of a chronic cough which might freak people out, so hopefully a face mask will keep others feeling more secure.

Daughter naturally wants just black.  Son has chosen black fabric with red, angry looking skull and crossbones print.   I'm having fun.
