Yesterday, my girlfriend turned on the TV to watch Hoda and Woman's golf was on NBC. I said to her "Hoda" isn't on... its Saturday. She said "No, its not; today is Friday"' I said "Check your phone" Then she said "OMG it is Saturday, the days are just running together and I have no idea which day it is" You aren't the only one K.K.; each morning when I check my e-mail, I have to look at the day and date (on the computer) to see which day of the week it is. The biggest thing that I see going on around me is that the gyms and restaurants are closed. I could not believe how many people were moving their boats today and how many people were at the country clubs. I just don't see that many people locked away. We're the same way with NetFlix. But my nephew recommended this show on NetFlix called Tiger King. It's about the business of owning large cats (Tigers and Lions etc.) We've only watched a couple of episodes, but it looks good. One of the large cat sanctuaries in the show is near me in Tamp FL. It looks like it gets interesting with attempted murder etc.. I'm still playing golf. Playing tomorrow at a private club. I have a can of Lysol and Lysol wipes. One cart per person and golf is naturally social distancing as I've said before. It's about as safe as anything as far as being outside. My wife will be working at home for the rest of the month. The two women that work for her have been set up by I.T. to work at home also. Her company has given their employees the option to continue to work or stay home and collect unemployment. Edited April 5, 2020 by Piddy
preraph
I'm afraid to watch Tiger King. Since they supposedly were abusing some of the cats. I can't watch that. But that show is very trending right now, so it must be pretty entertaining. I've always said Oklahoma is predominantly conservative, but the rebels there are further out on the ledge than any I've come across anywhere else.

I have 4 former stray cats (now house cats) and we save strays by trapping and getting them fixed and placed so I'm the same way. Have caught some raccoons and opossums too, since they like the same food. The issue in Tiger King is breeding for profit as the large cats are just used to make money, especially the cubs. The woman in Tampa runs her sanctuary as a safe place for them to live out their lives So the story basically is the battle between her and getting the other preserves shut down. That's where the attempted murder comes in to play. Joe Exotic is one of the guys who runs a large cat breeding preserve in Oklahoma and is a real nut job IMO. JE is a major nut job. More like a wacko. I realize how BORING my life is compared to those types of people. I am ok with boring in that regard...LOL Piddy are you going to see TB play in Raymond James this FALL (if they play that is). I never thought it possible but a shorten season or NO SEASON is started to be debated widely
preraph
We have a good big cat sanctuary in North Texas. They had a bad virus go through and kill a lot of them a few years ago. So sad. I used to work with endangered ocelots at the zoo, behavior and telemetry research. Edited April 5, 2020 by preraph

We went a couple of years ago when New England played the Bucs at Raymond James stadium. Yeah, if they have a season we plan on going. My wife's boss has season tickets, so I'm sure we'll go at least once. Like you say if they play at all. Edited April 5, 2020 by Piddy

Ellener, I actually "binge" watched the series and he actually did run for office. It's scary to think about people like that running around in society. He is/was a nasty human being

The Outlaw
Back to the matter at hand. I'm prepping to go back to work tomorrow. As far as what I've been doing as of late, I've been misbehaving and dayum did it feel SO good. And I'll simply just leave it at that.
submart
Well guys... AT LEAST another eight weeks of this stuff. I've done what many of you have. I cleaned the house (including ceiling fans and baseboards). My husband's business has been affected by all this so I'm tasking him to paint our kitchen cabinets. Outside the home I'm washing our vinyl fence, powerwashing the driveway/patio, cleaning out the flower beds, and getting my water features up and running for the season. I'd like to go to Home Depot to get some potting soil and mulch but I'm kind of afraid. I may attempt to go this week if it isn't crowded. My husband and I have been going for long walks in the evening, exercising as usual, and making shutterfly books (that won't be purchased till things are safe again and his business is back up and running). I work at a hospital and am essential, but I'm trying my best to stay safe. I still have to get up close and personal with patients without a proper mask. I get one paper mask per week. That's it. I'm happy I'm still working/getting paid, but it is scary being in a high risk environment. There are at least seven active cases where I work and many patients with pending results (80+). Stay safe everyone!
jah526
I signed up for Amazon Prime because I wanted to get grocery delivery. Then I found out they don’t deliver to my remote corner of the world. Anyway, it’s free for a month, so I watched the second season of Fleabag (loved). Also watching Better Call Saul on Netflix. Filmed nearby. I adore the Mike character and I’m not sure why they didn’t make a series about him. To me, he’s far more interesting than Saul.

Saul has a pretty interesting back story, especially if you are interested in the law. His relationship with his brother (Lenny from Laverne & Shirley!), who is also a lawyer, makes for some good drama. I think I like it better than BB. So far, not as violent. Also, Mike Ehrmantraut, the dirty Philly ex-cop, has a storyline. He’s awesome. It’s almost required viewing for me, since it’s one of the few shows filmed in my area, and we as a state are very proud of the BB franchise.

Ruby Slippers
Since everybody was talking about it, my boyfriend and I tried watching Tiger King. It was moderately interesting at first, mostly because of the exotic animals, but it didn't take long to figure out that these people are just crazy. Partway into the first episode, we lost interest and turned it off. Last night we started watching Shahs of Sunset, a very silly show, kind of like the Persian Kardashians. My boyfriend is half-Persian and was curious about it. It's a lot of shallow drama - so far the main storyline is two women fighting for dominance in the group - but somehow it's oddly entertaining, not the kind of thing we'd ever watch normally, but with all this down time, it's passing muster for now. We've also been watching a lot of movies. Just watched The Godfather the other night - heavy but classic. Right now I'm on the rather boring 3-hour orientation Skype call for my new job, which is just starting today. Just going over all the details of their many policies - government agency, so they're heavy on this stuff. My boss called me on Friday with a little preview, obviously eager to put me to work. He's one of those conservative types who seems to think we'll be back in the office in about a month - but I doubt that.

skywriter
Well, my boyfriend and I decided to get some outdoor chores done before the rain comes. So, I went through all my flower pots I'd been storing and tossed a bunch of the worn out, chipped etc. Then we cut down a large bush/turning into a tree near the house. The squirrels were climbing it and getting on my roof so it had to go. That was quite a job. We finished that and I decided to start raking the yard, well I have a lot of yard. I got way in over my head with the raking. I did accomplish quite a bit. I kept running into ants and stopping to spray this bifen IT for the ant problem. It works good, I just have to reapply every thirty days. So finally I made myself stop and go prepare dinner. So, I've been rediscovering my albums and played a few while fixing dinner. That was fun and relaxing. My body is so sore now from yard work.LOL It's all a work in progress.
Gaeta
I envy all of you with a yard. Isolation in a condo is getting to me, especially not having space for a home office so half my living room as been turned into an office with piles of bankers boxes a little bit everywhere 😣 1
