It was h[is birthday and I had planned a restaurant meal with friends. Am I reading this right? Was he saying leave me alone? I get the feeling he was, tbh, but maybe that is in my imagination. And if he had other plans with someone else he should have just included that other person in your plans, invited them to the restaurant. Are restaurants open to do this kind of thing?
