Even if the affair partner is interested, if it's discovered you may be helping them emotionally hurt their spouse, damage or end their marriage and "blow up" the structure of their life, and impact their kids. IRL extramarital relationships, this kind of thing is stressful, tedious, wearing. Fine if it’s a couple of one-night-stands, little more than a game - but you run the risk of one (or both) of you becoming attached, or of discovery (with the associated drama and heartache) - or of a myriad other things that could go wrong.
