Luna66star
Quote I'm no longer reaching out to my ex, it's been 2 months of NC. I notice someone has been putting small scratches/dents on my Toyota, presumably at night when I'm asleep. I have a car alarm but I wouldn't hear it as the car is too far away. I took my car in for maintenance last week and they only pointed out a smqll scratch on my bumper (I dropped a cart on it). It has been sitting in my parking lot ever since as I only drive once every so often. How is it now I am seeing pen marks, small scratchs, or gauges all around my car? There are also large fingerprints all over my driver side window. What's up with this? I also see small paint chips come all along on the rim of my driver side door. This car is 2 yrs old so it can't be random wear and tear. Something is going on here! Could it be my ex - who I ghosted?

snowboy91
It's someone (obviously). For all we could tell it could be some other thief trying to break in. If this continues to get worse, get the police involved.
kendahke
time to install an motion sensor camera inside your car with a 360 lens--you can find them online. Are you parking your car in an apartment lot? Is the lot not secure? Try parking it someplace else for the time being and see if the scratches and whatnot stop. I'd go talk to the police or call the 311 number to find out what you can do about your suspicions. Do you think the prints are good enough to lift?
