WHO: Report that asymptotic can rarely spread Corona Virus

There is entirely too much conflicting, contradictory, back and forth with information.  Since I am high-risk (through no fault of my own), I choose to err on the side of caution and protect myself using the methods that billions of people, i.e. the asians, who have actually had experience with pandemics, are following and having success with.  Everyone is possibly a walking weapon and I will keep my distance from them.  I am finding though that there are some "out there" who do not respect my choice and make it difficult for me to enjoy some basic freedoms.  But, oh well, tough s*** is the apparent attitude.  And, why should we trust WHO?  They pander to the Chinese government.  I question their integrity and motives anyway.

I read about this yesterday, and while I hope it is correct, I am not changing my protective behaviors because of it.  Perhaps my caution will prove unnecessary, but wearing a mask in public when near people I don't know is a minor inconvenience.  I'll continue social distancing and I'll avoid public events, bars, and restaurants until proven safe or I've had a working vaccine administered.

As far as the WHO, they aren't perfect, but far better than the pathetic response and information provided by the government here.

Ah, new info just reported, that yesterday's report is NOT a WHO policy or official position, and is very preliminary:

Actually, WHO frantically clarified their position, so this isn't so anymore. However, those that are anti-maskers or saying it's a hoax or going ahead and running with it.

I saw on my morning news that the WHO is "walking back" this statement about asymptomatic transmission and it calling it a "misunderstanding".

It's starting to seem like recommendations and decisions around Coronavirus are being made emotionally and not rationally.

That is a very true statement Ruby.  I think that is ONE of the weirdest things about all of this.....all the STATEMENTS that say this or that and almost change on a daily if not weekly basis. Hopefully, it's not transmitted through sweat..........
