Coincidence or prying?

Recommended Posts

Last week, a male coworker asked me if I was seeing a particularly woman who works at the same office. I found the question puzzling because I don't really know him. I replied, kinda. I haven't seen him back since that day. I had the impression that he might be interested in the woman in question. If that was true I can't see why he just didn't ask her. He was known for being in a relationship with an attractive temp. manager, making the situation all the questionable. Any ideas?

He probably didn't want to ask her out if you were already seeing her. Didn't want to step on any toes.

If he asked her, and got turned down, its a rejection.  Asking you is just a confirmation, and not a rejection.

I'm not. I gave a vague answer because it wasn't any of his concern.
