Emilie Jolie
1. Sit down together, look at the colour scheme, use process of elimination and find something you both like Or 2. Agree to do some things in black and some things in girlie colours. Or 3. Leave things as they are if you can't agree. The main thing is to find something you both are ok with, ie compromise. Author Bluesky00
Maybe I’ll just choose one girly color and the rest of it will be black.
Happy Lemming
Do you have an IKEA nearby?? If memory serves, a lot of the furniture there is black and white. Maybe get a pastel colored end table or shelve or book case?? If nothing else you'll get some ideas as to what is out there and what you can decorate with. As an example, my IKEA desk is black and the return is white. My IKEA TV stand is black and white and the cocktail table is red, makes for a nice contrast. As an added benefit, IKEA furniture is inexpensive and easy to knock back down for moving. Don't know if they have their dining room open (Covid-19), but in the past I've always enjoyed getting lunch there with my girlfriend. It almost counts as a date and its fun!! schlumpy
Most men are not enamored with furniture color but they are with functionality. There in lies the key to your compromise.
