I was single 8 years before meeting my boyfriend, I was not really  looking, I was motivated by other challenges in my life. Then when I started looking seriously it took me 3,5 years to find a good guy. I had no hang ups, I was not affraid of commitment, I had all the desired assets to attract a man, it just took time to meet someone as serious about me as I was about him.

Fair enough but this situation is still confusing and contradictory.

I agree, the descriptions of those 4 dates certainly tell a different story than her original post and what she posted on her 4-5 previous threads about this guy. 

Those other threads, her original post and subsequent posts describe an extremely tenuous situation with a man who was uncertain about her and who kept her on edge.  

She even gave a list describing a man who may have serious commitment issues, not just regarding relationships but about many things. 

And now suddenly she tells the story of 4 beautiful dates suggesting a man who was quite smitten. 

I'm not sure what to believe anymore but I am inclined to stick with my original assessment - they both have issues which is both what drew them together and pulled them apart.
