Sassydiva
As in people I know personally and it’s kind of a conflict of interest and I feel weird about it. The guy I mess around with and have known for quite a while, is friends with this girl who happens to be my ex boyfriend from a while back, brothers wife. I don’t know who initiated it but I don’t see any reason she would want to follow him. I didn’t say anything to him because there really isn’t any point. Rather, I let her know. I’m sure he has no clue how I actually know her lol...
d0nnivain
Social media ends up showing you the odd connections in your life. My grade school teacher turns out to be neighbors with a professional colleague of mine. The fact that your new guy knows your EX's sister in law just makes it a small world. It's not inappropriate. You can ask him how he knows her. Nothing wrong with that. You don't want to find out when you are face to face that your double date is with the EX's brother & SIL. That would be awkward. Author Sassydiva
He doesn’t know her, which is extremely creepy. But I’m going to ask him anyways
Author Sassydiva
Actually she added him so I now have to restrict her from seeing my posts.
ShyViolet
It's possible they know each other through something that has nothing to do with your ex boyfriend. I think you're making too much of this. And he's "the guy you mess around with", not even your official boyfriend from what it sounds like, so why do you feel that you have the right to control who he is friends with on IG?
