QuietRiot
I have to laugh at some of these people posting about how you are "breathing in your own CO2 and germs" and thus causing harm to yourself by wearing a mask. And this isn't with the exemptions, but to all humans that they are proclaiming. I was at work, wearing my mask, as I wear one 8 hrs a day, 5 days a week. And someone was attempting to "scare" me about an article of a woman that got Legionnaires' disease by wearing a mask. I had to chuckle at this as I knew what that disease was it's mainly acquired via walking past one of those public water fountains that would sometimes spray a mist your direction and you breath it in. Or from A/C units and water systems of sorts etc etc. SNOPES even said "FALSE!" You see, I work among a lot of back water, blue collar types..and sadly, they are quite against masks and even scoff at the rules by bragging about how they went into a store (with that rule) without one without any employee saying anything to them about it. Of course no one is going to say anything, no min. wage worker in their right mind would tell them otherwise. Sadly, there's even a school teacher friend of mine on FB, that I guess has no concern of going back to school...as her and her friends are quite the anti-maskers, but "have to wear one because they are told to by their employees or wherever they go that have a mandate". Even before Covid, I would wear a mask for allergy reasons when doing 2 hours of yard work...in the heat. I often wonder why the easy argument of medical workers isn't enough to shut down that argument?

I often wonder why the easy argument of medical workers isn't enough to shut down that argument? here, we've been told that pretty much any facial covering will do, but we're supposed to reserve the masks that actually do something for healthcare workers ( you can find this on the government of Canada website re:masks) and the rest of us are advised to use pretty much whatever we want. There's people getting some really weird ideas about what constitutes a mask and filter. A friend wanted to do her part, and read that a coffee filter can be effective. She dutifully lined her "dust mask" with one, only to find out she couldn't breathe through it. We're advised to use those, paper towels, a folded kleenex, whatever as a lining, and there's also a very broad definition of what constitutes a "non medical" mask. ;
GorillaTheater
To your last point, I don't know if I need a big dick, since I am a big dick. Good luck with the Covid germs.
