Your desire to maintain the connection probably will dry up pretty quickly when he loses interest in you romantically. “Innocent” communication likely won’t seem so much fun when you know his heart and mind aren’t with you anymore. You need to cut this out before your life blows up in your face, OP. You’re addicted to the escapism, it seems. Instead of trying to justify keeping this man in your life, turn your attention back to your relationship.
