do most fathers don't ever want their daughters to get married to a guy someday?

Still I heard a reason why a lot of fathers don't ever want their daughters to find love someday is because they don't want them to ever have sex. I heard the reason for that has to be because they don't want them to lose their innocence.

What kind of father would want his daughter to have a life without love or her own family if that's what she desires?   To be hobbled in a childlike state for the duration of her life.

Well I heard some fathers online say that they wish that their daughters would use artificial insemination or something like that to get pregnant instead of them having sex if they ever wanted to have children someday when they are grown up. Lets be real this "joke" is rooted in patriarchy.... often fathers feel entitled to control their daughters bodies....one example that is famous is when TI (the rapper) went on a podcast and told the world he takes his daughter yearly to the OBGYN for "hymen checks"....she was 18 at the time ...he embarrassed her then got mad when the WORLD including porn hub commented on his comments then the fool got mad bc his other daughter whose TWENTY FOUR didnt call and tell him she was pregnant(golly gee wonder why). The real issue is a lot of fathers were DOGS to women and they think by acting like this it will keep them from running into dudes JUST LIKE THEM....how bout dads just put their daughters on game, teach about safe sex and talk about having healthy relationships. Stop gate keeping your daughters body it wont work ...if they wanna have sex they will and you cant stop them *shrugs...

They aren't the the representative of the average father? I thought that's how a lot of fathers felt since I did read a lot of comments from fathers online wishing that their daughters would use artificial insemination or something like that to get pregnant instead of them having sex if they ever wanted to have children someday when they are grown up. I don't want that to be true at all. I'm not really obsessed with this, so don't say I'm creepy. I'm just trying to figure out how most fathers feel about their daughters dating and getting married someday because of the overprotective father stereotype and because of what a lot of fathers say online.

Creepy I agree.  my mother was molested her entire childhood by her father and  this reminds me of a story she told me once where she brought a boyfriend home to meet the family in the father had a caniption  so now whenever I hear things like this I think of that scenario.

Just one more question and I'm done with this topic. So even this clip from this movie is just an exaggeration from real life and most fathers actually do want their daughters to find love someday?

 It’s not even an exaggeration of real life.  Real life fathers want their daughters to grow up, marry good men and live their own lives.  

Also, have a look at the clip and you’ll see a laughing emoji stuck on the front of it.  This means it’s a joke.

I got married age 19, against my father's wishes, he disliked my boyfriend. And turned out to be right- my husband hit me and I threw him out and divorced him. He was the love of my life though, my childhood sweetheart I guess, and we mistakenly got back together several times over the years and had a child together. 

He could never change his abusive behaviour though, and it's the one regret of my life I gave my son a crappy dad. They no longer have contact. My son can't stand his father, calls him a hypocrite.

I do think many men would treat a woman ( or child ) as a possession as @Azincourtsays, but I would not allow it for myself. And I raised my own son to never hit a woman or child.

I told my husband when I was pregnant that if he ever hit my son I would kill him! He never did, but he hurt him anyway by being so selfish and uncaring. And the last time he hit me I threw him out the next day.

Women have to be brave in this world. It's not been created equal.

I'm sorry that happened to you. I had an abusive dad, so I understand how it feels to to be abused. 

I agree that parents need to teaching their sons how to respect women a lot more than they do and teach them to never hit a woman or child. 

 

Also, I believe that the reason why there's a lot of guys who only use girls for sex is because they are not raised right.

I think it's mostly the fathers at fault since many of them encourage their sons to date and don't make a big deal about the amount of girls they sleep with, but it's the complete opposite with their daughters.

These fathers are both selfish and hypocritical! They're ok with their son dating and sleeping with someone else's daughter and potentially hurting her or/and causing her problems, but it's not ok when someone else's son does that with their daughter. They only care when it's their daughter and not someone else's is.

By doing that, fathers are just giving the message that men should be praised for the amount of sex that they have, while women while be shamed for it, and that's wrong.

So parents need to be focusing a lot more on teaching their sons about respecting women and to never use them for sex when dating them, and they need to be teaching them more about boundaries when dating or asking girls out.

I know what you mean but it's not how I've lived my life. 

It did ruin the sex life with my husband the fact he hit me, and years after when he met his next wife he told me that was all my fault, I have a problem with intimacy. I said 'did you tell your wife about the abuse' and he hadn't of course. And I've never had problems with anyone else!
