ironpony
When it comes to job applications, and you are filling out the parts that require a lot more writing such as a paragraph or more on where they ask you why you would be good at the job, should I handwrite or print that? I feel that may handwriting looks better than my printing, but is handwriting not a good impression nowadays?
Fletch Lives
Printing paragraphs takes to long. That's what cursive handwriting is for.
d0nnivain
Is this an on line form? Why isn't it fillable on the computer? If you are applying in person use the most legible -- print or cursive -- but most people print more clearly then they write

Happy Lemming
Filling in blocks or line items I would print. If they want some type of essay answer to a question, I would utilize cursive.

major_merrick
Hmmm.... took me a minute to figure out what you were asking. Cursive vs. manuscript. I would definitely say that manuscript/printing is WAY better. Not everybody is taught cursive in school anymore, and there are many different styles of doing it. Some are more legible than others. But typing is better than writing by hand if at all possible. I know it is probably a "dated" method, but for paper applications a typewriter is an option for making things legible and professional-looking.
