LilySun Posted November 5, 2020 Share Posted November 5, 2020 So I unliked my Ex business page when we split up a few months ago. Just today, I found a pending invite to like his page. It doesn't say when I got the invite. Did he invite me to like the page again? Or could this be the 1st invite from many years ago, still showing as pending? I had other invitations from pages that I already like and follow. I never told him that I unliked his page, so I'm wondering if he figured out and invited me again? Link to post Share on other sites
Wiseman2 Posted November 5, 2020 Share Posted November 5, 2020 It's time to review your social media settings. Make sure you clean out and delete/block dead weight. Reset your privacy settings so that only people you know and trust can view your content. There is a difference between a person purposefully sending a friend invitation and a facebook algorithm sending an invitation based on a friend of of a friend who is already on your FB list. Which one was it? Are you friendly with your EX or was there bad blood and you think this is a sign that he want's to bury the hatchet? Link to post Share on other sites

Uptown182 Posted November 5, 2020 Share Posted November 5, 2020 I think business page invite comes from the page owner, so doubt it has anything to with an algorithm. If you were still Facebook friends I’d say he must’ve sent a mass invite out, but I’m guessing you’re not. Probably is the initial request, maybe it popped up once you unliked the page and you’re just now noticing. Link to post Share on other sites

Could be the initial one, although that seems strange because I 1st liked the page 6 years ago..we not FB friends but there isn't bad blood between us , either. Link to post Share on other sites
