They weren't even attractive looking shoes. 🤣 How could they be? I had a placement supervisor, when I was a student, who wore them. The receptionist told me to look out for them if I was following him down the stairs. I don't know how he walked in them. The lift was inside the shoe - like a raised internal platform. He wasn't even short. Just average height (for the time, at least).. an inch or two under 6 ft - but apparently he was determined to hit that 6 ft mark.
