We've planned and decided she will quit her FT job and stay at home while I work If she is worried, what’s her plan to bring in some extra money while she is a stay at home mother. Seriously, many women work part time when raising families. She can take another child into your home to provide care. There there lots of contract work that can be done in the evening. There’s a reason why women sell Tupperware and Avon. While I have much respect for the work of a stay at home mother, there is nothing saying that she can’t or shouldn’t be looking for opportunities to boost your income during this time. Particularly if she is worried and she wants to have that baby... rather than complain, she could find a way to contribute. Edited February 9, 2021 by BaileyB
Wiseman2
Maybe you need to rethink the SAHM thing. It's causing huge resentment and she isn't even pregnant yet. Why not sit down with your financial advisor and accountant and come up with more feasible plans?
