Lorianna Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 Hey guys! My ex broke up with me two weeks ago because of his trust issues. His mother texted me two days ago (she knew we had a fight but not breakup, at least she said so, but he used to talk to her and I don't think he hasn't told her) and she was being very nice and kind to me. Today is her birthday. Should I wish her?
Alpacalia Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 While it is a thoughtful gesture keep in mind your ex may not appreciate you still communicating with his family, even if it's just to wish his mother a happy birthday. 2

Yeah, I thought that too, and I wasn't planning on doing it, but as she texted me two days ago to ask me how I was and probably know more about our fight, I thought I should text her
Miss Spider Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 I don’t really think it’s advisable you keep in contact with your ex’s mother. You guys are over. Best to leave that all behind 1
TeddyBundy1993 Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 If you are done and wanna move on then just don't wish her. You don't need to communicate with his mom either its nice that you are kind to her. 1
Saorla Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 This might be perceived as you fishing for breadcrumbs 1
flitzanu Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 you can pick your nose, your ex can pick their nose, but you shouldn't try to pick your ex's nose. this is a "no" from me, you're trying to be nice, but you're no longer part of that circle and should not stay in touch. 1
