growingpain Posted June 18, 2001 Posted June 18, 2001 Given a scale of flirtatious/shy, aggressive/passive, talkative/quiet, I am the one who is more tilted heavier toward the right side. I am not a vegetable, but not one who could talk about anything without being uptight sometimes. and i like girls who is more on the opposite scale. for the girls, my question is, do these type of girls like a guy with personalities like mine? because from experiences, they dont seem to. i hope i dont have to change myself that dramatically to find someone i like. thanks! gp
Miss Mojo Posted June 19, 2001 Posted June 19, 2001 hi growing pain, compatiblity is a very personal thing. while some people would feel that being compatible with someone means they share many of the same interests and have very similar personalities, others feel compatible with a person even if they don't share many of the same interests or personality traits. you know the old saying, "opposites attract" (yeah, i remember paula abdul). i know many people who, on the surface you would think are very incompatible, but when you get to see them as a couple, they have a very healthy respect for their differences, and it's these differences that keep their relationship strong and interesting, and they are actually quite compatible. on the other hand, i know couples are who are so alike they clash. all the girls in this world don't like just one kind of personality. there are many girls out there who would you would suit, and many who would be very attracted to you. you don't need to change (and why should you??), you just need to persevere with chicks until you find one that you really click with, and for most of us, whether we are an extrovert, introvert, passive or aggressive, it's something that doesn't happen all the time...but that can be part of the fun because it gives you many opportunities to meet many different people. have fun!!
