hippychick3
We have been engaged for 17 months with plans to get married this summer. We recently set the date for the end of May since that is when all my adult children will be in town. I am super excited. We are having the ceremony at the courthouse as neither of us want a big wedding. I’ve btdt and don’t want to do it again. We’d rather the money be spent on our home and traveling. Anyone else have a courtroom wedding ceremony? I’m still planning on dressing up and having a photographer to capture the moment. And then we will celebrate with friends and family after (we will all be fully vaccinated by then... yay!).

d0nnivain
I never had a courthouse wedding but I worked in a courthouse & saw quite a few. Some were very laid back; others more elaborate. Don't plan to throw things (rice, birdseed confetti etc & you can't exactly decorate elaborately but if you wanted to bring a big potted plant or two I have seen that done, but not in Covid so check the regs. Best wishes.
